Anti-drugs logo contest

20th February 1998 at 00:00
The Government's drugs tsar, Keith Hellawell, has asked schoolchildren to design the Government's new anti-drugs logo. He said: "We don't want a tired portrayal of the misery we know drugs can cause, but a positive vision of what our society can achieve if we get to grips with drugs."

The competition is open to children under 16 and closes on February 27. Any school wishing to take part should contact their local Drugs Action Team. Further details are available from e mail: CDCU@gtnet.gov.uk
