AoC's balancing act

21st May 2010 at 01:00

The team will help the AoC identify and deliver improvements in procurement practice and give advice on how groups of colleges can collaborate to take advantage of shared services and bulk buying. Ray Poxon, AoC's new senior FE procurement manager, said: "The task colleges face requires a delicate balance between the need to think commercially while retaining the public service ethos that has, historically, served them so well."
