An apology

2nd May 1997 at 01:00
An article headlined "Young, bored and in trouble" (TESS, September 6, 1996) pictured three young people, Fiona Currie, Kevin O'Connor and Edward Brown, with the caption "Nowhere to go? It matters to young people to be in control of where they meet and there are not enough places outwith the commercial sector."

We wish to make it absolutely clear that none of these three is or has been in any way involved in gangs or the misuse of alcohol or drugs or any other form of mischief caused by boredom. They are model pupils and we regret any misunderstanding caused by the use of the photograph in connection with the article.
