Glasgow is readvertising a post for a literacies (sic) officer, the plural of the word describing the council's commitment to promoting literacy and numeracy skills within its own workforce.

The advert goes on to say that a Post graduate, presumably Royal Mail Letters, qualification is desirable. So it's not hard to see why this post is so necessary.
