AQA will hold Latin resits

7th July 2006 at 01:00
In response to the letter from Julia Root-Gutteridge ("AQA injustice?", TES, June 23), we would like to clarify that AQA is offering re-sits for all AS and A2 classical Greek and Latin papers in January 2007.

In July 2004, a letter was sent to all centres with entries in these subjects to confirm that the subjects were being withdrawn and that these re-sit opportunities would be available.
