Control technology is a difficult area of the curriculum for many teachers. Longman Logotron hopes they will be won over by its two new software packages - for primary, Junior Control Insight (single-user pound;49 ex VAT); for secondary, Control Insight (single-user pound;79). Developed by Laurence Rogers and Doug Dickinson at Leicester University's School of Education, they aim for simplicity and ease of use, and work with a huge range of sensors and computer peripherals.
