The 24 Hour Museum is a virtual archive to accompany the BBC's Battlefield Britain series. In the Trails section, it describes eight key battles fought on British soil from Boudicca's rebellion against the Romans to the Battle of Britain in the Second World War. The site explains why these battles came about and how they have affected our lives today. In the teacher's page there is a search facility to find resources, articles and information about places to visit.
