Arts - Big laughs for a web logo

26th February 2010 at 00:00

A children's comedy club will come to the school that wins a competition run by the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Organisers want pupils to design a logo to be used on the festival's "comedy for kids" web page. Entries are not restricted to Glasgow schools and are encouraged from throughout the central belt.

The festival, including several events for children, runs from March 11- 28. It includes CBBC stars Big Howard and Little Howard in Little Howard and the Magic Pencil of Life and Death, and the chance to travel through time in Doctor Austin and Doug Safety's Time-Tastical Time Tale. These are some of the artists who will perform at the winning school during the festival, on a date convenient to the school.

Logos should fit into a square and entries must be sent by March 5 to Schools Competition, Glasgow Comedy Festival, 278 High Street, Glasgow G4 0QT.
