Scotland finished second behind England in the Four Nations Indoor International in Cardiff. The Scottish schools' team did very well and had three individual winners - Liam McDermid (High Scool of Glasgow) won the boys' 400m in 51.71 secs; Dalziel High's Jill Lando won the girls' 800m (2 mins 14.74 secs) and Frances Miller (Lossiemouth High) won shot putt with 10.74m.
