Award for cultural exchange project

A special-school teacher has won a national award for an innovative online project that allows pupils to talk to their counterparts in France. Ruth Sanders from Velindre Community School in Neath Port Talbot won the impact on students' learning award for her Let's Make Friends project, which allowed pupils to share cultural information and compare their education systems.
