Award for reporter

A former TES journalist was presented with an award for outstanding education reporting during her time at the newspaper.

Dorothy Lepkowska received her prize at the third annual Education Journalist of the Year awards, held at the House of Commons. Her award recognised a series of articles about special needs education, tackling topics such as albinism, left-handedness and mutism. Judges praised her tact, understanding and innovation
