Badminton Scotland, which is keen to get badminton on to the primary school curriculum, has developed an in-service training course aimed at primary teachers, active school co-ordinators, volunteers and coaches.

The course, which has been piloted in Glasgow with 24 teachers, comprises three two-hour sessions and looks at basic coaching and movement.

Topics include how to coach large numbers of children in one hall.
