Badminton Scotland is planning several schools projects to coincide with hosting the world team championships in Glasgow next June.

The governing body's development team is planning carnivals, sports hall challenges and school support-a-team initiatives to get schools interested in the sport.

There will also be follow-up programmes to ensure that keen children will have a chance to continue in the trail of the world's best players.
