Staff lost years of work and lesson plans, but laboured long and hard to put together emergency study packs, so that pupils could work at home until temporary accommodation was set up.

Joan Mayhew, head of psychology at nearby Carlton-le-Willows school, has magnanimously emailed us on behalf of the Arnold Hill staff for our staffroom treat, saying they need cheering up at this difficult time.We agree, and are sending them a box of goodies fromBettys and Taylors of Harrogate.
