Basic Skills Cymru

The Wales division of the Basic Skills Agency was merged with the Assembly government this week, forming a new department called Basic Skills Cymru. Staff who are currently based in London are expected to transfer to Wales by April 2008. No more bin-bags A new campaign aims to ban the practice of moving the belongings of children in care in black bin-bags. This is not a suitcase wants all local authorities in Wales to sign a charter outlawing rubbish carriers and ensuring enough funds are available for suitcases.;News
