The High School of Stirling will open its defence of the Senior Boys' Cup against Dingwall Academy. The Stirling champions have been given a bye through the first round; the second round match must be played by December 20. Arbroath High, the runner-up last season, wil face the winner of the first-round match between Paisley Grammar and Notre Dame High (Greenock).

In the senior girls' competition, cup holder Portobello High has been drawn against Aberdeen Grammar in the second round - a repeat of last year's final.
