Former Scotland cap David Brown has been appointed by Aberdeenshire Council as basketball development officer. He will be based in the Ellon area and over the next three years will aim to increase participation in basketball and develop the out-of-school activity programme, working with schools and clubs.

"I am looking forward to working with schools, coaches and volunteers to grow participation levels," he says.
