Be fired with enthusiasm

The Great Fire of London can blaze a trail around your classroom walls with an interactive whiteboard resource on The TES website.

Children will be able to explore this historical event and study the lives of four people who witnessed it. The online activities will help pupils to develop an awareness of what the term "eyewitness" means and why their accounts may differ.

There is also a 10-question quiz to test how much children know about the Great Fire, as well as useful weblinks and downloadable teacher notes offering additional support and activities. The resource can be found at: www.tes.co.ukgreatfire
