Beat the bullies

Julie Hegarty, the Edinburgh-based children's author, has teamed up with the Beatbullying charity to raise awareness of bullying in primaries. Her book, Michelle in: Crabbit Comes to Stay, is the first in a series of four for children aged under seven. "So many anti-bullying campaigns are aimed at older, secondary school children but bullying, even in its simplest form, can happen to children of all ages," Ms Hegarty said.
