On the Becta board

Pat Bacon, president of the Association of Colleges, is one of three new people appointed to the board of the Government's technology body, Becta. Ms Bacon, principal of St Helens College, joins Timothy Pearson, chief executive of technology firm RM plc, and Mark Rogers, who is currently chief executive of Solihull authority.
