Better sausages?

ANYONE who thinks Plowden was a "huge mistake" and suggests that we deserve today's "strategies, targets and testing" in preference to Plowden's experimental and often inspired teaching must be mad. Compare this view with hose of fellow letterwriter Martin Scothmer fearing that we are producing human sausages of identical children.
