Bigotry isn't funny;Letter

WHILE I appreciate that the Jotter spinnets are meant to be humorous, I am afraid this was sadly lacking in "Wafer thin" (TESS, May 21). Indeed, I believe there was a serious error of judgment in reproducing this piece from the Free Presbyterian young people's magazine.

I found it grossly offensive, as did the persons who telephoned this office, and harmful, in that it fuels ignorance which in turn fires bigotry - sadly still prevalent in Scotland.
