Boarding is a smelly life

26th September 2003 at 01:00
How do you live with other people's smelly feet when you are at boarding school? The answer, apparently, is to stick them out of the window. The advice comes from 18-year-old Rose Heiney, in her debut book Being a Boarder, which also advises that cheesy crisps and teddy bears are essential pieces of kit for boarding school survival. The 30-page book, commissioned by the Boarding Schools' Association, is available at www.boarding.org.uk.
