Book Week goes global

The theme for Children's Book Week 2010 will be books around the world. The event begins on 4 October with thousands of events across the country, including the Bath Children's Literature Festival and the Starlit Festival in Shoreditch, east London. Free teachers' packs, including Booktrust's Best Books guides, have been sent out to all state primary schools, public libraries, special schools and initial teacher training institutions in England.
