An anti opting-out pressure group claims the rights of parents to balanced information in ballots over grant-maintained status are being eroded. Parents Opposed to Opting Out (POO) has criticised a booklet called "The GM Option" published by the Grant-Maintained Schools Centre. It has lodged complaints with Gillian Shephard, the Education and Employment Secretary.
