Little boys wearing boots for the winter weather are a challenge to harassed nursery staff. One lad asked for help but, even with the teacher pulling and him pushing, the little boots still didn't want to go on. By the time the second was on, she had worked up a sweat.
The boy then complained: "They're on the wrong feet."
It wasn't any easier pulling the boots off and she struggled to keep her cool as together they worked to get the boots back on - this time on the right feet.
The boy announced: "These aren't my boots."
Once again, she struggled and no sooner had they got the boots off than he said: "They're my brother's boots. Mummy made me wear them."
Mustering up her remaining grace and courage, she wrestled the boots back on. Helping him into his coat, she asked: "Now, where are your mittens?"
"I stuffed them in the toes of my boots."
