(Photograph) - Bowing and scraping: Every eight-year-old at St Laurence's Church of England primary, Ludlow, Shropshire has been given a violin and an hour's tuition a week. Head Kevin Bryant says the scheme, which costs less than his photocopying bill, is proving popular with boys. "There are a few ruffians in Year 4, who like climbing trees and football, but they take the violin very seriously," he said
