Boys' soccer win

TWO boys won the first round in a legal battle to block bungalows being built on the village field where they play football.

Scott Jones, 11, and Tom Howe, 9, from Kingsbury, Warwickshire, heard Judge Michael Rich rule in the High Court that he council had failed to take account of an alternative site, a car park. But he warned the boys that the council could appeal against his decision.
