Letter sequences

1 Find the letters to replace the question marks in each sequence and they will make a word.

2 What are the next three words in this sequence?

two hundred and sixty eight, twenty three, eleven, six, three, II, II, II

Mary likes a mix of white and brown sugar in her coffee. She keeps a special jar for it. Each day she uses half the contents of the jar and each night she fills it up again.

She starts each week by filling the jar with white sugar. After that she tops up with brown and shakes the jar to mix the contents evenly.

After how many days willMary have had more brown sugar than white in her coffee?
