Bravery, books and behaviour

2nd June 2000 at 01:00
WE were appalled to read of the headteacher beaten by a parent and applaud the bravery of the school secretary who placed herself between the head and the parent to break up the attack.

Unfortunately, your cursory mention of this point fails to tell us howthis dreadful incident has affected her, whether she was hurt and if so, whether she is able to claim compensation from the criminal injuries board.
