Brian needs a rest;Postscript;Letter

THE "startling findings" (TES, July 2), suggesting that homework for primary pupils does more harm than good, are spot on.

Just after this term's national tests finished, I came across a message written on a scrap of paper by a Year 6 pupil in my junior school.

It said: "All this homework is giving me brian damige."
