North-east Lincolnshire is celebrating the arrival in Grimsby Town station 150 years ago of the first passenger-carrying steam train. Events include steam open days, classic car rallies, a children's exhibition at Cleethorpes Library entitled "150 Years of the Railway", October 19-31, and a children's week at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, October 26-30.
