Bristol - Painting's on the wall for primary

Pupils and staff at Hotwells Primary in Bristol are enjoying a vibrant new mural courtesy of local artist Andy Council.

Children of all ages at the inner-city school were involved in creating the piece, which references local landmarks. "I was bowled over by their enthusiasm," Mr Council said.

Headteacher Annie Butler said: "Andy has been brilliant. Not only has he produced an outstanding artwork, he has established a tremendous rapport with our young people and demonstrated just how exciting the arts can be." DM.
