South Birmingham College has teamed up with Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to offer young people not in employment, education and training an 11-week summer course in the arts. The Bsmart course offers 16- to 18- year-olds the chance to take part in activities such as photography, film, music, fashion and sculpture. They will also gain IT, numeracy, literacy and other useful skills. Students qualify for the Education Maintenance Allowance.
