Bullying claim fails

A TEACHER who alleged that bullying by her head forced her to quit her job at one of Warwickshire's largest comprehensives has had her case thrown out by an employment tribunal.

Business studies teacher Dianne Elliot's unsuccessful claim of constructive dismissal against Warwickshire County Council and the school's governors is the second case involving Peter Rossborough, head of Ashlawn School, Rugby, to founder in recent weeks. Judgment on a third and final tribunal case facing Mr Rossborough, a former rugby international, is expected next month.
