Education and Employment Minister James Paice has launched ten one-day conferences for employers, further education colleges and the training and enterprise councils aimed at improving schemes to prepare 14 to 19-year-olds for the world of work.

Conferences are in Belfast, Bristol, Coventry, Cambridge, Glasgow, London, Newcastle upon Tyne, Preston, Southampton and York. They will cover the development of new National Traineeships, improving education-business links and reform of the National Record of Achievement.
