Being cared for by a crocodile may not appeal to everyone, but the fearsome reptiles actually make tender, caring mothers.

Crocodilia is the new support service from Crocodile Clips, the company that produces computer simulations for teaching physics, chemistry, maths and technology.

A subscription to Crocodilia gives free upgrades to the latest Crocodile simulator, home use versions for students, 100 new or improved lesson plans a year and preferential technical support to subscribers.

Other developments from the Edinburgh-based company include school site licences that allow the software to be used on any number of computers, and new atomic animations from Crocodile Chemistry.
