2nd October 2009 at 01:00

The organisers of a voyage to recreate the first circumnavigation of Africa in a replica 600BC ship want a teacher to join their international team. The Phoenician Ship Expedition want a primary or secondary teacher of any nationality for one or more legs of the voyage, which begins in November 2009 and will last for 10 months. The teacher will be working with the team to develop resources for a new education programme. Anyone interested should look at www.phoenicia.org.ukeducation-home.htm and send a letter of application to education@phoenicia.org.uk.
