Can pupils shut up for 10 minutes?

TEACHERS across the country are being urged to challenge schoolchildren to hold their tongues for just 10 minutes on February 9, 2001, in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Relie charity.

Last year, children of all ages across the UK raised pound;180,000 during the nationwide silence. To register for Hold Your Tongue call 0845 601 1716.
