Thanks for the memories: at Thorns community college in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, a Year 10 group created this garden of remembrance for one of the college's Year 7 students who was killed in a road accident on his way home two years ago. What began as an Asdan challenge - students are expected to develop a wide range of skills working with the community - has made a lasting memorial to a wonderful student.
