The Woodcraft Folk, the progressive version of the Scouts, has received planning permission for a campsite in West Sussex. Last summer, the organisation had to move a camp for 250 inner-city children when the local council issued an order preventing them from using the site. The Woodcraft Folk has now been granted a two-year certificate, allowing its members to camp on land across the country without advance permission.
