Information communications technology offers an increasing amount of support for children with dyslexia.

The booklet Catch `em Young gives brief accounts of many potential problems, such as weaknesses in auditory sequencing or in shape discrimination. It then describes some of the software available to build children's confidence and practical skills. Many structured multi-sensory experiences provided by computers - talking word processors or games nvolving the organisation of aural memory, for example - are available from the suppliers listed in this useful resource.
