Chartered info

I write this for the information of teachers generally but particularly for those aspiring chartered teachers in Kilsyth Academy (ScotlandPlus, last week).

Information about the first four modules in the chartered teacher programme is available in the public domain as full module descriptors - in the library at www.ctprogrammescotland.org.uk.

Once a candidate has entered the chartered teacher programme, he or she will receive one salary increment for every two modules attained. For confirmation of this point and much else, see www.scotland.gov.uk library5educationctfaqs-00.asp, a Scottish Executive Education Department website which deals with some of the frequently asked questions.
