BIZARRE scenes at the Institute for Public Policy Research's Turkeys of the Year awards, which took place around a shark pool in Brighton last Saturday.

The biggest ceers went to the nominations for Labour's worst policy of the first term - specifically to one in particular: Chris Woodhead's reappointment as chief inspector.
