Children are sick of Ofsted, too

I read with dismay Mike Kent's open letter to Ofsted (Friday, March 2).

Last November, my usually happy seven-year-old son said he wanted to change school. He said: "Dad, the spies have turned up. They ar there all the time, looking over my shoulder."

I expressed my concern to the head. She told me that more than one in four pupils couldn't cope with inspections.
