Clarification and apology;Margaret Kane;Correction

29th May 1998 at 01:00
Lynne Wallis's article (April 3, 1998) about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder referred to a former teacher, Margaret Kane, and could have been read to suggest that it was based on an interview with her.

We are glad to make it clear that this was not so, and that our references to her, in part based on previously published material, disclosed her identity against her wishes, for which we apologise.
