The work of the CPD website the Virtual Staff College Scotland is being recognised by the Scottish Executive with a grant for two years.

The site was launched six months ago by the Association of Directors of Education in Scotland. Each of the 32 education authorities has a contact person who provides a link to the college.

Strathclyde University has recently become the site's partner for structured learning. Links with a Scottish further education college are also being explored. It would provide access to online learning modules for college subscribers.

For more information, contact the site's Scottish project manager, John Christie, e-mail jchristie@tinyworld.co.ukwww.virtualstaffcollege.co.uk
