Poet laureate Andrew Motion and poet and novelist Jackie Kay are to judge the University of North London's creative writing competition for A-level, GNVQ and BTEC students in London. Entrants are invited to submit poems, a sort story up to 2,000 words or a 10-minute script for theatre, television or film by March 23. Substantial cash prizes are on offer.
