The Christopher Tower Poetry Competition, organised by Christ Church, Oxford University, challenges full and part-time students aged 16-18 to submit poems by March 1 on the theme "Early Morning". First prize is pound;1,500 and pound;500 for the winner's school with pound;750 and pound;500 going to the second and third prizewinners. Last year's winning entries have been posted on the Tower Poetry website and published in a pamphlet entitled Parachute Silk.
