THE BATTLE OF THEBATTERS Young people aged from 11 to 15 are invited to invent the world's most delicious sweet or savoury pancake recipe, and to send it in by December 15 to Little ChefGood Food Competition, 52 Broadwick Street, London W1V 1FF. Six finalists will then be invited to London around the time of Shrove Tuesday to a cook-off party at which their creations will be tasted and judged by a panel, including Loyd Grossman. The winner will receive an IBM Aptiva multimedia PC, software and Lexmark colour printer and their school will get Pounds 3,000.
